Re: Temp Announcement: Post Days
I like the idea. It certainly allows us to feel the growth a little quicker, maybe that'll keep interest levels up as well. I'm all for it.

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
Death seemed, once again, to be a far more common thing than Takua could ever have imagined before he'd entered The World again with the Eventide Crescendo. It seemed constant, an ever present companion that all of them hated but found themselves embracing time and time again, either by their own vo...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
It looked like, even though someone was kind enough to restore him to life, he wasn't needed anymore. Instead, he got to watch as their catatonic Heavy Blade dealt the final strike needed to the sigil...and promptly reverted the Wavemaster back to his humanoid form. Okay, so that was kinda cool. Now...

Re: The Current Quest Thread
>.> A wonderful...lack of posting here. Come on guys, don't make us fail the quest now that he's in his final stage and can, you know, actually be damaged by attacks. Anyways, two things of note. He uses the spheres around him as both attack and defense. When he needs to defend badly, he blows away ...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
It seemed that people had gotten the message through their heads that the sigil was what needed to die, not the bubbles. Those might actually be preventing him from retaliating, hoping that he wouldn't be the target of an earth-scorching blast of magic. He didn't really think that the status effects...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
The large amounts of bubbles floating around the battlefield made Takua think of something like a ever-shifting minefield that you couldn't always be sure you wouldn't hit. Baron's little stunt seemed to have filled the air with bombs that either debuffed you or just outright killed you with undodge...

Re: The Current Quest Thread
Sadly, bolts from the tower only give him another bubble, as I went ahead and tried that.
A thought: What if there isn't a way through the bubble and we're just hurting ourselves by trying?

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
Takua muttered something pithy and to the point after his last death and what had happened next. This fight, as closely as it resembled a boss battle, was either just as annoying or far more than one. Without the added option that, if they really fucked up, they could always just hit reset. In this ...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
Amazingly, the Wavemaster wasn't dead the second that Tritoch came back out of the white dome that he had enclosed himself with. That was a bit of a surprise. The second, and much more unpleasant of the two, was that he had wings again. Suddenly, he noticed two figures coming out of the city...and i...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
Lighteria had restored three of them to life, and Takua completed it by using a Rip Maen on Demorian as soon as his SP had recovered enough for him to do so. Why hadn't the man resurrected their heavy hitting help? Was Demorian really that hated by the rest of the party? Well, he couldn't really tal...

Re: The Current Quest Thread
EDIT: It's been solved. All four towers are now connected in a square by the lightning, and the ground is rumbling again. Very shortly, I'll have another post up with the remainder of the scripting.

Re: The Current Quest Thread
...well... After Sekai, Locke and I played with Tritoch for a while and thoroughly smacked him around (without any spells being cast against us) he slammed all four wands into the ground, which caused a bit of a huge ass rumble, and four towering staff-shaped crystals, complete with the changing gem...

Re: Captured! Jailbreak of the Century
Apart from his disobeying orders slightly by using Juk from the start instead of Ani, things went pretty smoothly for a while. Tag-teaming Tritoch went very well indeed, although he really wanted to know what the hell Demorian had used that had made him so fucking powerful in such a short period of ...

Re: The Current Quest Thread
Okay...now that we're rolling. Healing and de-debuffing has more or less been taken care of by Raquar, myself and Sekai. (In that order too) I was thinking though. Nighthand had a nice long stream of attacks on Demorian where we batted him around a lot. This was due, in part, to having a rather high...
