Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

Oh screw this... You don't need to be a mind-reader to tell what Lighteria is thinking when another dozen or so monsters pour out of seemingly nowhere. For one glimmering instant, he had thought that the team was done with the bulk of the monsters... but no. No sooner does hope creep its way into t...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

His blades pointed towards the Wooden Mer, Lighteria lets out a gasp to see Canti rushing towards it and rather pointedly dodging its special attack. That creature having been the only immediate threat, the timid twin blade lets out a sigh of relief, knowing it would have been a real brawl from his ...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

Lighteria has a bit of a problem with tunnel vision. While it certainly helps him focus on the most efficient and easy way to dispatch a single or pair of enemy AI, it doesn't really help when there are other monsters in the room and his friends are getting their vitals chew upon by them. Granted, m...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

There's a certain amount of embarrassment Lighteria felt when he found out the door he so adamantly had chosen turned out to be locked. It almost felt like the entire dungeon had just shouted a giant "FARK YOU" right into his face, but then again he's probably lucky that that's ALL it did....

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

Ok... statues blowing up is usually bad... But I'm not in a giant wad of screaming pain, so I must have done SOMETHING right. Fortunately for the twin blade, his logic train apparently decided to not take a trip to idiotville today and the puzzle was indeed solved. Lighteria lets out a long breath ...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

It's the little things that can really make a difference. You can be on the same, miserable field and feel ten times better when there's not a veil of horrible, blistering heat. Despite having to essentially duck under a mountain and fight an army to get in here, the struggle on the outside of the g...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

There's certain advantages and disadvantages to floating around as an amorphous swarm of tiny flickering elemental lights. The obvious advantage of this is immunity to the horribly annoying heat of the zone. The next advantage is being incredibly hard to damage in this form. The army of fire element...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

There's one nice thing about running with a powerful group of people like the freedom fighters. Even if you jump into the middle of a group like a complete idiot , there's still a good chance the others will either do the same thing or merely mop the floor with whatever you're too distracted to kill...

Re: Gated Folding Stare; Fighting Through Fire!

"...and that's everything that happened." Kit finishes up with what presumably was a summary of what happened in the last field so Lighteria isn't completely out of the loop. Again, Kit speaks in English to the twin blade, still hoping that whatever funk he's in can be snapped by something...

Re: Hopeful Tempting You Chance: Meeting the Master

Waiting around can be awkward sometimes. Though most business managers would have you believe that people feel comfortable sitting around in their waiting rooms, the reality is that they're not. Often times a person would find themselves sitting close to or across from people they don't know and pro...

Re: Hopeful Tempting You Chance: Meeting the Master

((OCC: Due to sheer length, the Mews will be cut from Kit's ' thought ' dialogue.)) Everyone is leaving... It's pretty clear the team is starting to head to the next field. What is an adorable kitten to do?! Lighteria is practically CATatonic for some reason and I can't seem to snap him out of it! H...

Out of all the root towns, Mac Anu is always the busiest. Whether it's the flood of new people who have just joined the game, the casual players who simply level very slowly, or the long-time players that simply want to enjoy the social aspect of the game. Not to mention most events are held there. ...

When you think about it, it looks a little unfair when five plus people jump a single target. Granted, it's hardly a dog pile situation with Angel's crazy dodging. Zan's initial attack was probably a perfect opener for the fight, given his imposing figure. With Angel focused avoiding claws, the timi...

Well this sucks... I was kinda hoping the real one would be ticklish, but this isn't working at all. With his plan failing, the twin blade crosses his arms and sighs, now at a loss for what his next move will be. Sure, he could start attacking the things and whittle the numbers down, but that'd tak...
