(OOC: You get to be creative here! :D YOU get to chose what your enemy is like! Everything from appearance to skills to their own special hacker abilities! (you are all fighting hackers remember :D) Obviously the way you're gonna get levels etc in this tournament isn't going to be how well you can solve my riddles. This is more of a fun thing where you can be uber creative! The more creative and intersting you make your opponents and your fight the more you will be rewarded! It might seem unusual but you get to be creative and it should be lots of fun to make the whole fight with none of my boundries! anyways, I hope you all enjoy lol :D)

It was finally time.

Watching Kodel and Vera's bout versus the Hacker Duo seemed interesting. It was obvious that either from "Kill or be killed", there was no rules. No other boundaries. No other things to consider. The only thing that was flashing through his mind while he sat on the ancient roman, artificially created bench was how he was going to do his victory dance after he beat his opponent.

Asgard sat in a small preperation room, where the fighters usually sat and collected their minds before heading off into battle against insurmountable odds. It was about as plain as the rest of the arena, as the hackers decided to make this place as dreaded and barren as possible. Aside from the solid stone bench he sat on, there was not much in there. A torch was overhead, charring a spot in the ceiling. As the ashes fell in front of Asgard's face, he closed his eyes he began his battle mantra.

I have to win...There is no room for failure...The hacker will fall and the rest like dominoes...It's all a game...I am the ruler of this game...No one can beat me...

His eyes opened and his eyes were a bright yellow, emanating with power. Without the objective of watching over his teammates, he could now fight with no restraint. He had been waiting all of his new player life to show his true power. Not even the hackers would be able to stop him. He could lose all control of right and wrong, but he had to survive now.

"Kill or be Killed" was, of course, the sentence of the day.

He rose from the gravel bench and stepped back out into the open arena. The entire arena was made to resemble the ancient roman arena, packed down sand and all. Asgard appeared into the arena with cheers from both sides. It was funny, as he thought that the group was on one side and the hackers on the other. The Heavy Blade looked to both sides and saw that he was correct.

On one side, his comrades in battle were grouped together, cheering him on. Hijinx was rampant, jumping up and down, cheering "Go team!" from the ancient rafters. He looked over the group to see Gingitsune and Nall...not cheering at all. Their burdens set upon them for their respectives matches were distracting them from their matches, obviously. Yet, there were still people who could cheer for them for Asgard.

Asgard looked ahead to the other side of the arena; The place where his opponent should no doubtedly surface from. The hacker team cheered and cheered, as their representative for the battle surfaced from the shadows of the other prep room.

A Heavy Blademistress surfaced from the other side. Dressed down in the standard Heavy Blade Skin (EX: BlackRose, Mimiru), she surfaced with a smile on her face. She blew a kiss over to hacker crowd, acting incredibly cute and innocent.

Well, for someone who was carrying TWO Heavy Blades.

Strapped to her back were a pair of Heavy Blade sheaths. He didn't need her to turn around to see a mixture of a dark and light auras from the weaponry. They were customized and looked very VEERY punishing.

Before Asgard could consider his plan of attack, Garaa stood up from his grand seat and spoke, Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the second bout and the first one on one competition of the Yamiya Tournament. The hackers' cheers became louder. He thrusted a pointed hand towards Asgard, and then to Niamah Both of these Heavy Blades will be fighting for our enjoyment, so lets give them a round of applause! Clapping and hollering followed, both Asgard and Niamah giving sly grins at each other. It was already late for intimidations.

Yet, there is a twist that you fans would like. Asgard and Niamah stopped and turned their attention to Garaa. For example, I took the liberty of scribing elemental glyphs all around the arena floor. Acting like land mines, as soon as you step on to one of them, it will activate a spell inside the glyph, dealing what would equal a level 2 spell in damage. The crowd and the battlers were shocked. None of them were told, it seemed.

Also, as a special bonus, seeing as it wouldn't be "fair" for Asgard to get destroyed by Niamah's weapons, Darkside and Truthcoss, we have decided to give Asgard a piece of armor of his choice. From a selection, though. Garaa grinned impishly. The elites started to chortle behind their visages of power.

As soon as Garaa finished talking, a line of items appeared in front of the Heavy Blade. Being true to their word, the selection was there, but very vast. He could choose from virtually any weapon or armor of his choice from Delta and Theta. After a silent moment, he chose the Hands of Water from the lineup. As he grasped the item, he threw the Heavy Gloves into the air...

And destroyed them with his Kotetsu Sword.

"I don't need your charity," Asgard said, bringing his sword close to the left side of his face, the blade end pointing at his opponent, "Let's go."

Garaa, agitated, but calm in his own way, shrugged. He offered a chance, but was satisfied with his decision nonetheless.

Alright then, he spoke, sitting down in his luxury seat.

Begin...

OOC: Now's the time to cheer. I'll be back late tomorrow to post it up :P

Tirath sat in the stands livid over the fact that Garaa had over looked him! He was still part of the team though and even if all he could do was cheer then he was gonna cheer louder than any hacker ever could!

Asgard changed his stance and brought the bottom of the hilt to his chin, his style changing to that of a fencer. It would be pointless to try and do wide slashes with his Heavy Blade when his opponent has two to counter with. Quick-thrusting jabs would prove more effective than the latter.

Niamah wasted no time in flaunting her power, by taking both of the strapped swords out from their sheaths. One, a sword with a golden halo around it's hilt and an aura of white surrounding the blade, cut out from the sheath and was brought flat behind her body. The other, Darkside, was brought forward to defend or to attack Asgard. It's blade was menacing to say the least, boasting a demonic skull-face at the blade's tip. Niamah smiled mischeviously as the two swords seem to react to each other, glowing brighter and brighter.

At this point, Asgard was starting to become a bit unsure of his situation. Outclassed and outgunned, he was at a huge disadvantage. Hopefully, she didn't have the Intelligence Quotient to back up her obvious physical strength. The magical traps could also be used to his advantage as well. They had to be fairly big to catch both of the Heavy Blades offguard.

Yet the time to think was far from over. The hackers in the stands were getting restless. It was time to begin...

Asgard stuck his free hand into his pocket and pulled out one of his speed charms. Ap Do activated in a split of a second, creating stopwatches over his head, moving faster and faster in motion. He could feel his flexibility and dexterity skyrocket to their maximum. He grasped the handle of his Kotetsu Sword and yelled "Ap Corv!", initiating his power up. Asgard could feel his grip tighten harder on the hilt, almost thinking and believing that he could bend the very sword he wielded.

Meanwhile, Niamah, as confident as a sea captain on a stormy night, stood in a defensive stance, with Darkside in front and Truthcross behind her back. A daring grin crossed her face, waiting for Asgard to stop increasing his strength and fight. If her plan works, then her opponent is very much doomed.

Those blades are really impressive... Armina thinks to herself as Asgard faces off against Niamah. I hope Asgard new what he was doing when he decided not to accept their charity...

Biting her lip the LongArm leans forward in anticipation. Not that I can blame him... I don't think I would have trusted any gift from them either...at least not at the begining of the fight.

"Go get her Asgard! You've got the Experience to do it!"

Settling into her seat the carefree girl watches intently, hoping to learn anything she can from her fellow teammate who used to be an Administrator. She knows she will need all the knowledge she can get for her & Rayo's upcoming match.

Asgard admired the situation for a moment. With his power increased substancially and the honor of a first attack, the scales of battle tipped in his favor. Even though he had no idea of what Niamah and her two swords could do, he was still overly confident. Confident to the point where it could go to his head at any moment.

Niamah was still standing as still as an art model, with the dark sword in front and the holy sword behind her back. Her grip was iron tight, seemingly impossible to disarm. Yet, Asgard knew that disarming at least one of the blades from her could prove useful to him. It was hard to judge the power from a sword he had never encountered before, but he had a gut feeling that the Kotetsu Sword was no match for even one of them.

"Come on, already!" Niamah said in a bright, but taunting voice, "I don't want to lose this match due to old age!" Asgard huffed, his breath clammering across the Kotetsu Sword so close to his face. Niamah gave another one of her trademark slick grins to show her accomplishments. Getting under Asgard's skin, that is.

"Fine. I wanted to give everyone a good show and prolong your life for a while. But," he said, bringing his sword onto the barren earth. The sound of metal to "If you wish to forefeit your life so quickly, then I guess I'll have to deliver you to the afterlife that much faster."

Effortlessly, Asgard jumped into the air, gaining at least 20 meters of altitude. He grabbed his Katana with both hands and brought it behind his back, opening the match with a devastating, vertical slash. Niamah was well aware of his attack, bringing Darkside up to block the attack. The two swords met, sending a vibrant *CLANG* of metal upon metal meeting.

Asgard was shocked to see that his opponent wasn't at least REELING from his opening attack. Niamah was quite fine in fact. Darkside was blocking the Kotetsu Sword's attack without any sign of difficulty. In one hand, Niamah was already overpowering Asgard as a whole.

"C'est la vie, no?" Niamah said, smirking as she taunted him more. Before Asgard could act, she lifted Darkside high into the air, stunning Asgard. In his slightly incapacitated state, he felt the full force of the holy sword, Truthcross, as Niamah effortlessly delivered a half-moon slash to Asgard's open body. The Heavy Blade was swung back to the hard earth, a deep gash in his chestplate. He brought a hand free and grasped at his wound.

Yet, that was not all of his problems. He could hear a faint hum from the earth he was currently spread out across. In a split second, a large yellow circle, much larger than Asgard, appeared from the dirt. The outline shone brightly and numerous sparks of electricity descended from the heavens and struck down at the incapacitated Heavy Blade. The magic trap continued to beat down upon Asgard, as he could neither move, nor scream. Only open his mouth in horror. As a coup de grace, the final spark exploded violently, creating a massive dustcloud in it's wake.

Niamah grinned mischeviously. Her plan was bearing the sweet fruit of victory and it was only seconds into the match...

"O-Oniichan!" Tokki stammered, watching Asgard getting slaughtered by a combination of Darkside and Truthcross' unimaginable power. The gigantic gash in Asgards chest had made her involuntarily jump up in exclamation. She gritted her teeth together in anger, and looked away quickly as if trying to cover up that she cared. She took her seat again, and grasped the handle to her blade once more.

Tokki spat out in disgust after her slight fit of worry left her. Her brow furrowed, and some entirely different thoughts went through her head.

Asgard.. tch. How could he let such a person make a fool of him.

She glanced down at him again. Pitiful. He'd better get up.

The dust cloud lifted into the air at snail's pace, letting the lifted dust rise and dissipate in the dull breeze. The audience in the Yamiya Colliseum were now emotionally mixed, due to the sudden and drastic change in the duel. The home team roared in approval as Niamah courtsied towards them as a reply for their good graces. Her obvious advantage in power and Asgard's now-apparent bad luck were now clearly evident. Their cheering continued, bringing the hackers' morale and spirit through the metaphorical roof, and grinding the hopes of the away team into the dirt on the battlefield.

Asgard's allies could only fear in anticipation of the attacks result. Even with Asgard's heavy plated armor and his strongpoint in defense, Niamah still managed to silence him with a one-handed slash attack. Along with the magic glyph that Garaa placed, hitting the Heavy Blade at full power, there wouldn't be enough of him to sweep under a rug. Nall and Gingitsune, the fated pair, were still immersed in the decision process. They looked over in despair like others, but their minds still raced on their impeding decision. Hijinx, seeing the brutality of the linked hit, could only think of her match even more and how she would end up destroying him or her. Vera, Tirath and Armina cheered on the Heavy Blade, thinking that the attack was merely a scratch on the armor. The others just watched, stricken with the fact that the same fate could befall them if they weren't careful.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pain.

It was the only thing on his mind. There was a gash the size of his arm on his chest, the armor was now feeling extremely hot due to the lightning bombardment...

And the fact that he was bested too easily.

Now, Asgard thought, It's time to redefine her world to pain.

The dust finally cleared the stadium, revealing the battered warrior, kneeling on one knee. The man was in the saddest shape. His armor was cut open in the middle, going straight through a red line that stretched the length of the opening. His whole suit was charred a smokey black, some parts even welded now to his skin. His helmet was broken on one side. The horn on the side was blown to pieces, as well as a big part of the face plate. From the opening was bloodied dull golden hair, with a bloodshot brown exposed, staring bloody daggers at Niamah.

He was breathing heavily, as the attack and the sudden impact from his back to the floor was taking their tolls on his stamina. Asgard grasped the hilt of his katana fiercely, feeling a stinging pain from his hands. With that much damage so soon, Asgard was seriously thinking of death and the afterlife. If the fight was going to go this way, then he best prepare his casket.

"O-Oniichan!" Asgard heard someone say from the stands. The Heavy Blade looked over at the stands to see Tokki screaming at him. The word, even though oblivious in meaning to him, still sounded like a cry of sympathy. Yet, she quickly disregarded the caring side and returned a look of pure pity. It didn't take a genius to figure out she was purely disappointed.

That settles it then... Asgard said in his mind, The Dual Wielding bitch is dead...

Asgard thrusted the Kotetsu Sword in his sheath. To popular thinking, his plan didn't involve swordplay. He had already shown himself that he was outclassed in swordfighting against Niamah. Thusly, a new approach had to be taken. Asgard disequipped his sword, making the sheath and sword vanish. With his weapon gone, he advanced forward to Niamah. Knowing that his boots would have clipped a trap on the flight via Truthcross. He saw the dragmarks of his heels evident on the dirt, proving his theory to a safe path.

"What's the matter, mon ami? Coming forward so you'll save me the distance walking over to you?" Niamah said, laughing the whole way through. Asgard only frowned, plodding forward. He could hear the crowd of hackers now, laughing and booing Asgard from afar. He could probably end all of them, in the most gruesome and bloody manner he could think of. But, that would have to wait. He had a fight to win.

"Not entirely, Niamah. You see, I've figured out how you're capable of beating me," he said confidently, hand over his open wound. The hacker raised an eyebrow quizzically. Asgard continued. "You aren't strong at all." Asgard stood face to face with Niamah, the hacker still in her defensive stance. He clenched one of his fists together and tapped it on Darkside's flat side, "Your swords are the source of your power..." He continued, still tapping the blade. With Ap Corv and Ap Do, he brought his fist up from a usual tap, but grabbed Darkside from the hilt.

"What the?!?!" Niamah was able to get out, before Asgard used his other hand and backhanded her across the face. The force of the hit made Niamah lose her grip on her dark sword and was sent straight into the wall. The portion of barrier exploded with a great force, making the lower rafters collapse under the lack of substructure. Stone bits flew out from the impact in every direction, too small to do any damage, but in great numbers nonetheless.

Niamah was now bruised up, just as much as his opponent. Yet, she was much worse off then he. That last, unprovoked and impromptu attack was repeating over and over in her mind. If she couldn't stand up to a single hand to hand attack, then him with Darkside would be an unimaginable combination. Niamah felt a tightening feeling on her back, finally noticing recoil from the impact. It was painful, but understandable damage. She snapped back to reality to see Asgard, now gripping her sword. He must have figured out how these Heavy Blades were light, but still packed a great deal of damage. Her hand still on Truthcross' handle, she pondered away at her next move.

"What's the matter now?" Asgard asked the hacker, "Stumped?" He continued to trick wield his new found sword. It was a VERY long sword indeed; perfect for a heavy blade. The hilt alone was over two feet long; the blade spanned another six. What was so interesting about this sword was that it was partially alive. Much like a symbiote with one eye, with sharp bladed sides. Another interesting quirk was the nirvana that Asgard was feeling. He could feel himself regain energy just by wielding Darkside. It felt incredibly good, yet it was only a momentary high. It wasn't replenishing his HP's. But, the power was a drug. Just by wielding the sword, he felt untouchable...invincible...immortal...

Yet, Darkside was only feeding...His soul the main course...

Time passed like godly fury.

Every attack was now one of titanic proportions. It was as if the cybernetic earth trembled under the might of the two heavyblades.

Asgard, armed with the evil-eyed, triangle sword Darkside, swung with paralyzing vigor. He was now the wielder of destruction itself. His armor was tattered and torn, gaping holes exposing his vulnerabilities. With each passing moment, he attacked viciously and to no end, much like a being possessed.

Niamah, holding her ground against the terrifying power, was amazed at how events were turning and not in her favor. With the forked sword TruthCross in her hand, she was keeping pace and preventing her own demise by her own weapon.

Yet, truth be told, one would lose their life, but one would lose their soul...

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Asgard slashed viciously downward at his opponent, trying to force her down and gain an upper hand in the battle. Yet, Niamah stood strong, blocking the blow with her white auraed sword only inches from her scalp. The two were at an impasse, as both poured their strength into their weapons.

"Give up! You are on your last legs! Surrender and I swear on my sword that your demise will be as painless as humanly possible," Asgard struggled to say. Niamah could only grit her teeth in defiance, holding TruthCross sideways to block. "Normally, I would spare your life. But circumstances being what they are, I cannot grant you that pleasure."

"Tough words from an underclassed player and an even more inexperienced swordsman," Niamah blurted purposely. Her mindgames were only making Asgard's adrenaline more concentrated than before. Now that she had that mindset on the duel, Asgard decided that mercy was too good for the doomed one. He pulled his sword up from the parry and sent it into a volley of wide, horizontal cuts. Niamah was well prepared for the assault, bringing her sword to her side and dodging the attacks almost effortlessly. "I see that Darkside favors you now. Yet, it is my weapon, so now I will take what is rightfully mine!"

Asgard growled and continued swinging with unparalleled strength. Yet, Niamah read the moves well. Almost as if she was with Ap Do, she ducked one of the giant side slashes, and added momentum to the sword's swing by pushing it in the same direction. This sudden shift caused Asgard to lose his footing momentarily. Yet, that was a moment of weakness that his opponent capitalized on.

"Rai Smash!" Niamah's sword lit with the fury of the dragon of lightning, pulsating a bright yellow glow. Its beam pulsated through the arena, before being doused out from impacting with Asgard's side. The hit sent him sprawling to the ground a few good yards away from his original position. It was a short distance, but it felt like he dragged across the dirt arena's floor for miles.

Belly up, Asgard could see the cybernetic background of the sky. He smelt his armor, burning away from the charred spots hit by lightning. He couldn't feel much of anything, as his body was rendered useless by all the coarse lightning. His mouth agape, he breathed in the sand laced air, thrown up from the battle. All of his senses were present, but he feared that this was the end of everything. He could use a Health Drink to recover his lost health, but there was an inkling in his mind that he didn't need it...

Niamah sauntered up to the fallen Heavy Blade. A smirk on her face along with a nice scar on her cheek was all he could see. Without hesitation or speech, she brought TruthCross up and over her head for the final hit. All she said was, "Good fight. But alas, Goodbye." Before she could even start her swing down, she stopped. Asgard was face up in horror, but now in confusion. She tried her hardest, but it seemed she couldn't move from that solitary position. Nor could she speak. Asgard couldn't believe his eyes. From the side of his right one, he saw Darkside, glowing with an evil essence. There was only one reasonable explanation for all of this, but he couldn't even bring himself to believing it.

The sword, Darkside, had used its own power: Suvi Lei. The sword had a mind of its own. All impossible, but all fathomable.

The wounded Heavy Blade picked himself up from the ground. He could feel parts of his armor coming undone and falling to pieces around him. Asgard grinned slyly. With the aura still around Darkside and Niamah still frozen in place, he brought his sword behind him, much like a golfer's backswing. Niamah was sweating now. This was the end, she was probably thinking.

Because it was...

"ANI DRIVE!" Darkside began pulsating a dark aura. It seemed to swallow up all forms of light and plunged the arena into a moonless night. With an effortless swing, he brought the sword downward in a vertical arc and then slashed up diagonally and straight through Niamah, effectively cutting her into unequaled halves. The powerful hit sent TruthCross into the sky and plummet into the dirt.

Asgard sighed bloody relief. This nightmare was finally over. He did what he had to do.

The Heavy Blade sauntered over to TruthCross...
hoisted it up out of the ground...
smiled as he heard his allies cheer...
and then collapsed onto the floor, unconscious....
