Ah, does this mean thou art gainfully employed? Excellent!
I'll have a doozy of a sig later, I swear. It'll reflect ".hack//CODE" an' everything.

Hey look! A profile! It's got items and stats and things! Cool! If it isn't fully up to date, it will be, so don't worry 'bout it.

I wouldn't say "gainfully" as I don't nearly make a living off them. $65 a month isn't a living. But it's a start.

Here's two more.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 67139.aspx

Both FF13. One's an upgrade guide and one's an achievement tips guide. Neither of them are hugely in depth but there are spoilers. Either way, click and read 'em!

I'll be working on posts for here and EC over the course of the afternoon in between bouts of cleaning.

So I still get paid for these things. Some of you may have seen my Facebook post, which I'm blatantly copying and pasting here.

First off, go here: http://www.brighthub.com/members/nighthand.aspx

That's my profile and will always have links to my most recently published articles.

So we're doing a large push for promotion of articles in the Gaming Channel this month, because last month was flat-out terrible. So I'm going to promote a bunch of mine here. I'll also add a few links to other people's articles, for anyone interested in what else goes on in the Gaming Channel.

My Top Five Performers

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 67139.aspx My Final Fantasy 13 Upgrade Guide, with 83,490 pageviews this year to date.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 67138.aspx My Final Fantasy 13 Cheats and Tips Guide, with 13,025 views year to date.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 96668.aspx My Black Ops Weapons Guide, with 6,000 views year to date.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 74531.aspx My Modern Warfare 2 Best Classes guide, with 4,400 views year to date

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 05817.aspx My Black Ops Unlocks Guide, with 3,600 Views year to date.

My Worst Five Performers

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 74234.aspx My MW2 Map Pack 2 Overview, with 11 views this year.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/so ... 78678.aspx A Review of Perfect Balance 2, with 15 Views this year.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 73875.aspx My MW2 Map Pack 2 Review, with 15 views this year.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 70575.aspx My MW2 Map Pack 1 Review, with 31 Views this year.

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/co ... 71393.aspx My MW2 Map Pack 1 Overview, with 42 views this year.

This shows some interesting things. Namely, that getting in on the ground floor for an RPG guide gets a lot of views even a year after the game came out. Whereas map pack reviews for a shooter whose sequel is out don't really garner much attention at all. Also, reviews of flash games may get a few views for a hot minute, but that's about it.

Now we'll see some other top articles in the gaming channel. I don't have pageview counts for these, but they're the best in the channel.

Gaming Channel Best

(Fun Fact: These are actually five of the top six, because one of the top five is still my upgrade guide, linked above.)

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/pc ... 75398.aspx Ten Best PC Games Ever, by Simon Hill

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/pc ... 11612.aspx How to use a 360 controller on your PC, by Simon Hill

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/pc ... 05419.aspx Guide to Suits in Dead Space 2, by Jonathan C-Riopel

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/pc ... 46528.aspx Top Ten Best PC Horror Games, by Anurag Ghosh

http://www.brighthub.com/video-games/mm ... 42863.aspx How to get 99 Range in Runescape the Easy Way, by Christopher Kochan

So! What do you guys think? What should I write about next? What do the other top five articles have that I don't? What do I have that they don't? Tips, ideas, anything?

I'm also looking for other means to promote the articles. If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them. So far Digg, Reddit, and Stumble all return basically no views, because nothing I write has been controversial or high-profile. Bright Hub uses N4G a lot, but they're also cracking down on people submitting basic guides like I have been.
