Hrm, I really don't know what got me started, it definitely wasn't DBZ though. I think it was Transformers back in the day (You old school anime junkies know what I'm talking about. ) Then I started watching SCIFI, Fatal Fury owned. Then after that I just started watching channels that normally don't show cartoons at all like, Cinemax, Dirty Pair Woo hoo! After I become addicted.....yes I'm a anime addictic...I spent all my money on anime. I've seen almost all the animes they have posted at AnimeArt.com and AnimeWallpapers.com. My favorite movie is still Fatal Fury and my favorite show right now is Silent Mobius. Anybody ever seen Voltage Fighters? It was good.

I guess it was when I started watching Sailor Moon.

But I think what realy got me going was Outlaw Star and Ghost in the
Shell.

This may sound pathetic, but I got into anime when I first saw Sailormoon. I was such a big fan that I taped every episode, later on I got into bigger and beter animes. Now my fav. Is Dot.Hack & Excel Saga!

And don't forget the new Spirited Away. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it's great. All Miyazaki's films are.^^
Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, DBZ, DBGT, DB, Trigun, .hack//sign, Rurouni Kenshin, Outlaw Star, Ranma 1/2, etc., etc., etc! There's too many.
I think it was Outlaw Star though, way back when it was still on Toonami

Oh I didn't know the SCIFI channel showed anime...like what time? What anime?

I don't think they do it anymore, it was saturdays 8-10 or 10-12, They showed Akira, Project A-ko, Demon City Shinjuku, Vampire Hunter D, Dominion Tank Police, 8-man after, umm... *thinks* I think Record of the Lodoss War, man I can't remember clearly...

I used to watch Outlaw Star when it was on Toonami as well =D I haven't had a chance to see Spirited Away/Castle In the Sky, by Miazakyi also.. But I'll just keep looking around...

i think this old anime called "tales of eternia" set me on anime and even though its a couple years old its still looks nice and is like a aventeruos rpg with swords and stuff and almost looks similar to how the world looks like except those weird extra backround in theta server they added

i don really know what got me started in anime but i know the one that really got me into .hack//sign was actually DragonballZ i used to watch other animes and go "eh" but when i got introduced to DragonballZ it lead me on a path of Anime(Japanese Cartoons) that broguth me to this point a list of them are in order that lead me here but you probly don wanna listen u can ignore it if you want...
