(OOC: Sorry to do two posts like this, but the last one was just getting too long for my liking. Anyways, this post has been specially approved, just to tell ya...)

They both charged forward at each other again, but this time, with attacks coming from above. Both Kurai and his clone jumped into the air, their spears pointed at each other's necks. Both of them swatted each other's spear out of the way at the same time, which knocked them both off balance. They hit the ground in a kneeling position, and whelled around to face each other. They ran at each other again, running through the groups of others fighting. Kurai brought his spear up low from the ground, as his clone thrusted forward from the midsection. They both met their target, and both's hit points fell dramatically. Kurai's clone pulled back, and stabbed again, and this time missed. Kurai grabbed onto his clone's spear, with his left arm. he put his spear outward, and pulled in with his clone's spear. He felt a sharp pain in his stomach, as his clone took a stab in the belly. Kurai shook off the pain - he couldnt give in, when he felt so close to winning. His clone twisted his face in anger, and yelled out at him: "JUK ROM!" he felt a wind pick up around him, and leaf, razor sharp, slice across his cheek. He watched as his clone grinned evilly, as they both were sliced over and over in the gust of leaves and brambles.

Kurai felt the razor leaves cut across his skin. He thrusted his spear forward even more, and felt his stomach burn as it dug into his clone's belly. Kurai stepped forward, once, then again, and again, and started to pick up the pace. His clone was forced to walk back as well, as he was stuck on the end of Kurai's spear. Kurai kept moving forward, and picked up to a running pace, his blood boiling with fury. His clone tried to wrench his spear free, but couldn't manage. Kurai ran forward, and slammed his clone into a wall, digging the spear all the way through his middle. His clone had a look of shock on his face, as Kurai's vision started to fade. He let go of his spear, as he fell to his knees, looking up at his clone. Its eyes were lifeless, as it was defeated. His clone let go of his own spear, and it fell, rasting across Kurai's wooden spear. His spear lay stuck in the wall, even after the clone disappeared.

Kurai fell to the ground, clutching his stomach. He didnt have enough SP to heal himself, and he felt like he should just lay there forever. His vision was fading to black, but right before he couldn't see any more, he saw a bright flash of light overhead.

His wooden spear was glowing, upon the first touch with his clone's spear. As his clone disappeared, somehow its weapon remained. And now, the both of them were glowing bright, illuminating a briliant green. Kurai blacked out, as the two spears started sprouting, and grew into the crack in teh wall, and into the ground. A small sprout formed, then it grew, into a small tree. Branches weaved into one another, and then, as quickly as it grew, it withered and died. All that was left was a sad looking tree, twisted and lifeless, like the weapon's owner, laying on the ground below. A single branch fell fom the tree, its shape quite distinctive. It was almost perfectly straight, with a few twisty bends in it. A large row of thorns were at one end, with a massive thorn on the tip. It was a length of 7 feet long, and anyone could easily tell, it was a spear. This spear was not normal, though. It had a name, as it had lived as long as The World had been around. Its name was Treeweaver, and It had now found a new master.

(ooc: *cheers* go Kurai! Great post & the working in of the Treeweaver! Sweetness! Good idea on the double post thing, by the way... *grins* that would have been an uber-long single post.
Um... I didn't have Armina apologize for hiting you, did I? Clone or no clone she would have so I'll go back & alter my post.
I don't wanna post a new "real post" till I see if Armina's technique works. *laughs* It would be silly to have her keep hitting herself for no reason! LOL)

(ooc: awesome post Kurai! Nice twist at the end ^_^! Armina, your technique does work... heh. If you hit yourself on the head, then the clone feels the same pain too ^_^)

Gingitsune felt the healing powers of Repth flow through her body, and both eyes and fingers twitched as her life came back to her.
She managed a small sound as her eyes opened, and focused in on the swirling, cold ground.
Her entire body ached in a horrible way, as if every wave of her attack had pierced her body with a million nails, hammered masterfully in by a virtual Hephaestus, and then thrown to a pack of wild dogs.
As her fingers compulsively gripped the icy floor, and she began to attempt to rise, her thoughts went to her clone...
Was she still alive?
Gingitsune's strategy was to get their HP unbalanced and then to attack, putting all of her energy into one attack, and it had been risky...
If her attack was a bit stronger than planned, she could have killed herself also... She remembered her clone having about 5-10 less HP than she did...
Gingi wasn't the type to win through perseverance, she loved to attack with everything she had, and to knock them out with one blow, and that's what she had gone for.
Maybe not my best idea... she thought to herself, rubbing her throbbing head on the cold ground.
She saw Kurai fighting a few feet away, and shot him a weak, but grateful smile, he really had saved her, and had used some of his own SP to do it, maybe even giving himself a disadvantage in the fight.
A few seconds later Gingi had managed to haul herself onto her knees, and to locate her wand, which, luckily, hadn't flown away during the two confronting attacks, and had stayed near her side, and within reach.
Across the room from her lay her clone, sprawled on the ground, but not moving... It almost hurt Gingitsune a bit, it was repulsive, seeing ones own self in that position... helpless.
Gingi couldn't feel any life in her clone at all, the connection between them, the sameness, had disappeared, and it hadn't moved; apparently the attack had been enough.
Gingitsune breathed a sigh of relief, even though her HP had been restored somewhat, the pain and aching was still there, it was all so real.

Suddenly she saw Kurai's clone impaled upon a spear, and recognized the same look of anguish on Kurai's own face...
The monstrous pain he must have felt made Gingitsune sick... who would ever, ever play such a sadistic game with people? Or with anything for that matter... Who?
She struggled back up onto her feet, leaning on her wand, and moved towards Kurai as quickly as she could.
The sprouting, thorny, arbor made her pause in wonder- and then it withered, as quickly as it had grown...
Lifeless...
Gingitsune's eyes widened as her brain managed to register the connection... lifeless?
She raised her wand, as cold tears formed in her eyes, and her thoughts slowly formed toward the right spell... the nauseous dizziness that came after the fight still hadn't left her.
"Repth!" she said, concentrating on repeating her attack, over and over again, for as long as she could hold out, her SP having regained as she had revived.
Please be alright...

Across the room her clone stayed motionless, and defeated, the broken shards of the mirror that had littered the floor suddenly became one again, and the reflection of Gingitsune flickered from sight, as did her clone, leaving no trace of the battle but scratches on the ground.
In the next room two eager eyes watched all of the proceedings, and laughed at each anguished, pained cry in sadistically pleased tones.

Nighthand lept off the wall where he was leaning as one of the battling pairs flew in his direction. he hit the ground hard, and rolled on the impact.

he stood in time to see a tree grow out of no-where, and shed a spear at kurai's feet. he picked it up and swung it around testing it. nighthand missed any more, because he again had to dodge the players.

this time, he stood his ground and watched alertly as to the locations of the other fighters.

wait a minute, are there only three? he thought, looking around.

it looked like there was one less enemy.

but there were still three left.

(ooc: Sorry about the post. there's really nothing happening to me at the moment, but i didn't want to be lost in the masses :) it also seems that maybe you should have given us all copies to fight, gingi.)

**Kaisamyuu stood there against the wall and watched as some fought there counterparts and others just kinda looked on. He gave a slight yawn as he was getting bored at the moment. He removed his blade from behind him, and as he held the handle of it, he kept the blade right in front of him. He nose of the shealth dug a bit into the ground as Kaisamyuu cracked his neck out of boredom. He could only watch as he felt he should not enter in this fight as it was suppose to be a one on one.**

"How boring..."

Kurai heaved a breath of chilled air, a trail of icy breath from his lungs clouding the frozen-over floor. He put a hand to his forehead, and attempted to get up with his right hand. He slowly, but surely rose to a kneeling position. Brushing the cold, sweaty hair from his face, he tried to regain his thoughts.

his eyes caught glimpse of a withered root, beside his right ankle. He followed the root upwards, to gaze at a large, decayed tree overhead. It looked as if it had been there for years - but Kurai knew it couldn't have been. That was where he had destroyed his clone. Kurai stared at the withered trunk, lost in his thoughts. I stuck him to the wall... right where this tree was... His hand went down, instinctively to where he would've laid his spear. He couldn't grasp anything, so then he looked. Nothing. My Wooden Spear? Kurai glanced around, on the ground. Everywhere. Where did my weapon go?

Kurai got up, to his feet, grunting under his breath. It felt like all his muscled ached. For real. He looked around, to assess the situation. He still felt a bit groggy, as if he had just woken up from a sleep. A nightmarish sleep. His gaze fell upon Nighthand, who was holding onto a spear. Nighthand wasn't paying any attention to Kurai, but still holding onto the spear, watching all the others fight themselves. The spear looked familiar, but it didn't. Then, a question popped into Kurai's head: Why was Nighthand holding into a spear? Kurai took a step closer, and gazed at the weapon. Its shaft seemed to be made of every single type of wood he had seen, but it seemed to be a single object. Its top was a large thorn, and on both sides, small, sharp thorns, probably best used in a slashing fashion. "That spear..." Kurai spoke, his voice low and cracked from the cold, That spear is mine.

As he said this, the spear responded quite oddly. It started to move, almost as if it were vibrating. It started to get an aftershadow, leaving a trail of brilliant green light where it was. Then, in a flash, it disappeared from Nighthand's grip. Kurai looked to his hands, as they felt heavier. To his surprise, The Treeweaver was in his hands. It felt as if it matched perfectly with his grip, as if the wood was alive, and forming to his grasp however he held it. He held the spear outward, and felt its new power and skill radiate into his own body, its life energy lending it to Kurai. He gave a quick smile, as it felt so right. Kurai was amazed he had such a weapon in his hands. A Rare weapon.

Kayin Moved shakily to a corner, he was hurting quite badly. He quickly reached for a healing potion and drank it, and smiled as a small bit of relief filled him.

"This needs to end" he grumbled as he lifted his sword. "I hope this works"

Both Kayin and his clone's sp had plenty of time to recover. Kayin stared at his clone as it began to move towards him. Kayin stood waiting for the best time to attack. As the clone began to leap into the air for a deathbringer attack, Kayin again moved forward and slid underneath the clone. Kayin quickly turned around and charged at his clone knocking it against the wall. But Kayin wasn't done yet, as he thrust his sword into the back of his clone. Kayin's body twitched with pain, but this didn't seem to be enough to finish the clone, Kayin grimaced as he twisted the sword and thrusted it further into the clone. Both Kayin and his clone fell to the floor. Kayin slowly propped himself up into a sitting position and rertieved another health drink. Kayin leaned back against the cold wall, nearly unable to move for the time being.

**Kaisamyuu grinned as he saw the fallen clone of Kayin. He slowly moved from his position and closed in on the fake. The thing was badly damaged and another hit would more than likely kill the damn thing. Kaisamyuu grinned to himself again before raising his blade above him. The blade in his hand slowly began to give off a bright glow. His grinned grew over his face as the glow had completely engulfed the blade's metal. He then quickly brought his blade fowards, jumping slightly into the air as he thew the blade into the fake's skull with all his might**

"DEATH BRINGER!"

**Kaisamyuu grinned as the blade had sucessfully penetrated the fake's skull, slicing cleanly through it and to the ground. He watched silently as his grin faded, the blood spilling from it's head and around it to create a crimson pool. Slowly, the fake faded away till there was nothing left but the pool of blood. Kaisamyuu then looked to the other Kayin that was laying against the wall, still somewhat hurt by the previous attacks. Kaisamyuu grinned to him then turned his back, going off again.**

*SLAM* Asgard collided with the wall at high speed. He fell to the ground, breathing very heavily. He rose his head to see his doppleganger self, trudging along the dungeon floor. The clone could barely lift his own Heavy Sword. He could see cuts and bruises on its face. Those that corresponded to his gashes. He thought he would play it safe in a defensive fashion, but it wasn't the best of plans. Good thing for the "Iron Maiden" clause.

Asgard got back up to his feet and swung a haymaker at the clone's face. It hit head on, sending a feeling of intense pressure and pain to Asgard's face. He clenched it for awhile, cursing at his actions. If he can't keep this up, then he will be nothing but a ghost. It would only take one more hit to accomplish that request.

"Repth!" came a voice from the room. Asgard's wounds mended and healed in a light blue aura. He could feel his strength return. He took his hand off of his face to see his clone, still clutching at its wounds. The true Heavy Blade grinned and raised his sword behind him. The clone was too fazed to bring up a suitable blocker. With one big baseball swing, Asgard swung and connected with the clone's neck, decapitating it just above the shoulders. The head hit the floor and burst into dust, along with the body.

He took a moment to catch his breath. He had first thought that all actions towards himself would have a positive or negative effect on the copy, healing or not. Proved him wrong. He only hoped that he wouldn't have to fight another body double again.

Gingitsune lowered her wand, breathing a sigh of relief, everyone on the team seemed to be alright now, and the majority of the doubles had been reduced to dust...
Gingi looked over at the ice wall, and saw the mirrors quickly recreating themselves from glass shards and dust, she wondered candidly if the mirrors had anything to do with getting into the next room, since there was absolutely nothing else on this level but a few bored looking people, and look-alikes.
Gingi waved apologetically at the others, those who hadn't caught their reflection in the mirror, or atleast most of them, were standing on the outside edge of the room, talking, and not looking too amused.
Don't get too laid-back guys, no knowing what's in the next room, though it obviously won't be very pretty... she thought to herself, silently biting her lip.
All that remained of the pain was a dull ache in every muscle of her body, something that even Repth couldn't really cure.
She walked across the room, towards the mirrors again, peering at the glinting surfaces apprehensively, and finally putting a hand out again...
Curiosity killed the cat... a strange voice muttered into her head, causing Gingitsune to step back quickly.
As her finger touched the mirror surface it shimmered and changed from a close view of Gingitsune's wondering face, to a dark room, and that strange voice.
Done well so far Miss Gingitsune, but how much farther will you get, before that silver tail of yours gets caught in the door?
Gingitsune's face darkened, and she projected back, How long will you incessantly keep muttering inane little threats into my head, I swear you're giving me a migraine, I do seem to be allergic to braggarts.
The voice laughed darkly and the mirror returned to it's normal state, reflecting the angry face of Gingitsune.
Gritting her teeth she turned away, what a waste of her time...

Armina's vision clears as the Health Drink's healing powers flows thru her body. It worked! I can see her staggering from the blow! The other me felt it too! Laughing, Armina runs towards herself -- smashing her Iron Spear against herself all the way. The pain is intense, but for the first time Armina thinks she can understand what people say about the allure of battle; that rush of adrenaline that surges & empowers.

Her friends are a blur as she dive tackles her clone, "Repulse Cage!" --causing them to land tangled on the dungeon floor with their breath knocked out of them. Forcing herself to her feet, Armina stands ontop of her "twin" before gulping down another Health Drink These things sure are a life saver! Now for something I've not had much chance to use!

Her laughter flows easily as she starts to cast, trying to keep asured of her footing atop her clone. It felt weird: feeling her own footsteps but knowing no one stood on her. "Gan Zot!"

The floor around the Arminas shakes & shifts as the spell takes hold. Breaking with a groan the earth rises in massive stone columns piercing the girls. Tears are streaming from Armina's face from the immeasurable agony of her wounds, those that struck her & those that she indeirectly recieved from sharing with her mirror-image. OWWW!!! By all that's holy this hurts! ... but better to rid myself of her!

Force of stone & sharp roughness of edges shred the girls caught in the earthly embrace. Armina can't help but scream as the ground that had shot up so painfully crumbles in large boulders ontop of them. The dust from the falling rock clears & Armina can feel the dungeon floor return to normal beneath the parts of her body that are in contact with it. She feels no movement from the clone beneath her. Did I.... win?

Moving slowly, Armina turns her head to try & see her mirror image in the flesh. She's definately not moving! Now if only I can move so I can cast Repth or at least grab another Health Drink...

Sighing, Armina lets her eyes cast around the room. I see one more at least.... I think. Hmmm... looks like both Gingi's & Kurai's doubles are down for the count too. Asgard's clone... ewww! Armina closed her eyes from the decapitated sight. "I am SOOO glad this is a game!"

Really. She thought to herself. Since it's a game I didn't have to worry too much about whether my Gan Zot would tear up my clothes or not. Although I wasn't sure since we are feeling things so there could have been a hack or something that made clothing show the effects of wear & tear too. Reveling in breathing Armina listens to the rest of battle. Yeah, as soon as I can move I feel a Repth coming on!

(ooc: can I get a weapon upgrade? Pretty pretty please? I've still got my Level one weapon! *laughs* Phew! Now that that's out of my system!)

"glad thats over, shall we be going?" ramza walked to the exit of the room and waited for a reply and for them all to leave. nighthand walked over to him, and stood still, as ramza and hiim watch people recovering from their pain, as they do themselves.

(woo! Now that all of the clones are dead, we can move on to the next room, when Nall gets on! Hehe, I'd say you can have one Armina ^_^ it's not prob.)

Gingitsune watched closely as the last mirror formed itself... Suddenly a bright light, similar to the one in the beginning, flashed in the room filling the dark crevice with oddly coloured light.
The voice laughing in Gingitsune's head laughed harder, making Gingitsune want to bash her own head in with her wand, if only to stop the annoying sound.
The five mirrors suddenly began to slowly rotate, the one closest to Gingitsune stayed still, reflecting her expression, as the other four framed it, moving above, under, and to each side of it.
The light intensity lessened as the mirrors formed a long rectangular door in the icy rock walls.
As soon as the mirrors had finished rearranging themselves Gingitsune once again approached the door with great curiosity- another trap, maybe?
Touch the door Gingitsune, open it, go through, see what's waiting for you, I want to see the look of fear in your eyes... the voice added, menacingly.
Oh please shut up! she projected back, batting at the air infront of her head as if it were a fly and not a voice at all.
She backed away from the door, and turned to face the rest of the team, some of which were sprawled on the ground recovering from their fight, none of the others seemed to be plagued by the little voice, or atleast they didn't show it.
A beam of light appeared from the centre of the ceiling, and crashed down on the floor, as it dispersed, a little boy stood there, examining the group with his wide, but not frightened eyes.
"Hello everyone." he said, bowing stiffly at the waist.
They all gave him puzzled expressions, and some said 'hi' back.
He wasn't a player, he had no weapon at all, and his clothing was weird- like a medievel page, to a great lord; he was dressed in a pure yellow-green that made Gingi want to throw up.
"I am your guide, please follow me." he continued, but no one made a move to get up.
"Why should we follow you? And where?" Gingitsune asked, suspiciously.
"You've passed the ordeal, now please come with me to my master."
"Your master? I didn't think this was that type of RPG!" Gingi said, smugly.
"I will ask you again to follow me."
"Who is your master then, kid?"
"You shall see, follow me- my name is Yansin."
Gingitsune turned to the rest of her group and shrugged her shoulders expressively, some of them were nodding, those that could move their heads anyway.
As soon as everyone had been healed with Repth, and those still pained were on their feet, Gingitsune nodded to Yansin, "We're all ready. But if this is a trap, I'll seriously hurt you Yansin-chan."
The kid muttered something under his breath, and started towards the mirror-door, stopping only to press his hand to the front of it, replacing the shiny, reflecting surface with a pink, swirling one.
He graciously made a gesture that the group go before him...
"I don't trust this guys..." Gingitsune said, trying to swipe a pink swirly with the tip of her staff, "But I'll go first..."
And with a grin she stepped into the vortex...

**Kaisamyuu stands at the back of the line, shaking his head slightly as he mumbles something to himself. **

"What idiotic children...they'll walk into anything without even a hint of what's going on..."

**Kaisamyuu gave a slight shrug as he followed behind in the back. If anyone was going to get attacked or killed, let it be the cocky ones at the front. He kept to himself and kept quiet as he took up the rear. He slowly stepped into the vortex after examining it. He said nothing and kept walking, following ther others in front of him, his hand as always, on his blade.**

"Walking around like this...we're sure to be attacked and caught off guard..." He said to himself lowly.
