Tokki stared at the riddle, and then took a step back. Everyone turned to look at the long arm who had decided to be unconfrontational with this enemy. A huge sweatdrop formed on her, and she raised her hand to the back of her head in a scratching motion.

"Uhhh.. well, I'll leave THIS obstacle to you guys. Tokki tried to get away, overexaggerating a tip-toe walk to escape the enigmatic question they were faced with. The rest of them turned back to the riddle. Tokki sat on the platform behind them with her arms crossed.

Riddles? You've got to be kidding me. Fighting I can handle, but I just don't feel like thinking right now Tokki thought. Tokki stared out into the landscape to the left of the platform, thinking about the riddle in the back of her mind. What are we supposed to see when we stare into these different directions. She took in the eastern side of the platform, and then switched her gaze. Those sanguine orbs took in the eastern horizon, studying each and every piece of the puzzle, though not expecting to figure out much. After thinking without any success, she let out an overexaggerated sigh.

"Forget this!" she exclaimed from behind the group. Asgard turned to her. From behind his burly headgear, he prodded at her jokingly, "Thought you were leaving it to us?"

Asgard walked around the platform, once, twice and then three times. Tokki and Kurai were wondering what he was actually doing. He approached the center, where the party stood.

"Everyone move away please," he asked. The group was riddled at his weird actions. First the riddle, now his weird behaviour. They all sighed and obeyed.

Asgard stood in the direct center of the platform. He looked up into the bright sky, letting the machine made sunrays soak his face. He looked straight up, seeing the sun a little bit to his right. He looked to his left to see the switch, then to his right, and then straight forward. He was staring straight at the platform with the dragon statue.

"Easy."

Asgard walked to his left and pushed the lever. He walked to the lever the farthest from the dragon statue platform and pushed that switch next. Third, he walked to the switch closest to the dragon statue platform and switched it on. Finally, he walked over to the one that was on his right before, and waited...

Suddenly at the hitting of the switches a bridge formed out of nowhere. The players were amazed at Asgards intelligent solution. The players traveled across the bridge, on the other side they saw a magic portal. Once the group got to the other side it activated and the players got read to fight. With a blinding flash it opened and revealed... A chest. The players were quite amazed since this was the first time since most of them entered the world that a magic portal revealed a chest instead of a monster. The players walked up and opened it.

Everyone + 2 Restorative!

The players felt a little cheaten at the lame rewards but they took them and went on. The next bridge lead to a large platform. It too had a magic portal. They were getting a little anxious, they were already very close to the dragon statue. Once the players were accross, the portal oppened. This time there were monsters, and they didn't look too nice. 2 blue slimes, 5 water Faeries and 1 water Titan. It didn't appear as is this battle was going to be any harder then the last. Some of the experienced players were beggining to wonder though, there has never been an adventure yet without a super huge obstacle placed by the hackers to stop them from achieving their goal. What would it be this time? They didn't know but they had to focus on the task at hand. Getting rid of these monsters as fast, and as skillfully as possible.

"Alright guys, time to show you what i'm worth". Tirath charged head first into the fight, leaving the rest of the party somewhat confused, most wondering why he would do something so stupid.

Charging up he leaped over one of the slimes and roled under the titans blade as he made his way to the faeries. He made a diving attack, coming close to the edge and cathing one of them on the arm. The Titan was quickly on top of him, driving him to the edge. Tirath made a quick leap back as the sword came down on him and found himself falling toward the water.

In his despiration he grabbed hold of the titans sword, and with a flip was runing up the side of the blade. He leap into the air and as he passed over the giants head stabbed at its eyes. The creature screamed in pain as he held his face in his hands and tirath found himself fending off both blue slimes.

"All little help here," was all he could say as he danced around to avoid his enemies blows.

Tokki hopped up into the air quickly, flipping forwards to land gracefully on her feet, side by side with Kurai and Asgard. This was what she looked forward to: Battle, not riddles. Staring at the enemies before them, which didn't look to be any more difficult than the last, she turned to Kurai and the Heavy Blade.

Her slender fingers ran through that icy cerulean hair and flicked it ever so carefully over her shoulders, allowing it to cascade over her back. Her free hand had grasped her Glaive, and was casually spinning it in circles arbitrarily, as if effort was passe.

"Shall we take out the Titan, boys?" They nodded simultaneously, and the three melee attackers suddenly turned to the large fiend, ready to slay it without delay.

Kurai and Tokki moved first, springing from their starting position forwards. Tokki sped in front of Kurai, her legs moving at goddesslike speeds, and her feet pounding the ground twice as many times per second as Kurai's. Turning to him, She paused.

"Ap Do!" Her lingering effects of the spell were still in her system, so to be coordinated, she would have to assist Kurai as well. After the spell was cast, they both continued to either side of the Titan. This way, the titan would not be absolutely certain as to which person to take out, and wouldn't turn towards anyone in particular right away. Before he could make a decision, Asgard darted forwards. The Heavyblade carried his blade behind him, as he launched himself into the air with his Ap Corv boosted muscles, and incredible speed from Ap Do, right in front of the Titan. A random slash from the large beast missed-- Asgard was moving much faster than the Titan expected. As Asgard reached his peak, he looked at Kurai, who was somersaulting in mid air along with Tokki. Almost instantaneously, Asgard casted "Ap Corv" on Kurai, ensuring that the attacks to the Titan's aforementioned weakspot, his neck, would be critically powerful.

Kurai's weapon struck the monsters neck, who roared out in impatience and fury. Lashing at Kurai with his blade, he would only succeed in hitting himself in the shoulder, dropping it's HP even more. Tokki was next, her blade reared back for an attack. It was just like before, Tokki thought. The scene slowed for her, and it was a signal once again. Whenever she executed a perfect attack, time seemed to slow-- as if it were allowing her to savor in her pefect technique. Her glaive, she determined, was the reason this anomaly was taking place at that moment. She could feel it glowing with intensity, the blue light was covering her body as she sprung into the air. When the blade of the glaive struck the Titan, she pressed her feet onto it's shoulders, and backflipped off of him and onto the ground, where she stayed in a kneeled position. The titan's arms flailed, and it fell to a knee. Above it's head, the word "Death!" was floating, a signal for anyone to finish him off.

Kurai's walked up to the titan calmly, and held up the Treeweaver. Vines wielding sharp thorns soared out towards the TItan's head, and pierced it directly between the eyes, depleting it's last HP.

Tokki stood nonchalantly, and looked down at her glaive with wonder. Kurai and Asgard both stared over at her, expecting a reaction.

"Cool.." she offered.

Ramza was pleased, yet slightly upset that he didnt get the riddle. oh well, at least it was over fast... as they crossed a few bridges, collecting a present from a portal, they reached another platform with a portal. maybe this is the big one. surprisingly as ramza was readying for a hard battle, the portal revealed normal enemies. ramza relaxed his arms, and stood down for a little, and before he could comprehend what this was he saw the titan go down with little effort by the tanks. aww man.

ramza was just about to get into a laid back battle, when the faeries started to cast their spells. "oh no u dont. make me use my sp....MEani kruz! level 2." he unleashed his powerful magic attack, hitting all five faeries twice, with decent damage. the faeries quickly turned their attention to him, and were about to cast a spell, when kayin came in and slashed one on the far left, taking it out, and then spinning with his sword out, not doing much damage, but separated them to the sides of the platform. "thanks....watch ur back!" kayin was going to respond , however a blue slime was about to smother him. kayin turned and slashed in one motion, but the sword went right through. ramza's magic did work however, and he casted a rai rom spell on it.

Kayin moved quietly to the back of the group and away from the enemies. He knew he couldn't be of too much help with the physical part of the battle, his left arm was aching far too much now for him to be able to hold the sword two-handed, and the massive blade was difficult to swing with a single hand. And in that condition, he could barely defend himself.

'Damnit, that impertinant way off attacking has left me worse for wear.' he thought to himself as he clutched his green sword tightly. Kayin glanced at each of the members of the party, all seemed to be doing fairly well, this observation made Kayin feel a bit better about his predicament. With a sigh, Kayin returned his sword to its sheath at his back.

He slowly returned to the center of the battle field, he may be hurt, but he wasn't helpless, he just had to rely on his weak magic skills. Kayin quickly turned to the nearest enemy, it was a water faerie, He lifted his arms into the air and called out "Rai Rom".

Several bolts of lightning descended upon the Faerie depleting its few remaining health with the small amount of damage it could deal. Kayin then quickly looked for another target. Another faerie was relatively close as it was circling around to Ramza's gerneral direction. It was low on health as well, Kayin again called forth a "Rai Rom", again bolts of lightning descending on the faerie before it got its chance to cast a spell. The spell failed to kill the weakened creature, but left it at a critcal condition of health.

Kayin could finish the faerie, but it would deplete his SP, with that choice in mind, Kayin decided to reserve his SP for now. "Ramza, faerie on your right is about dead!" he shouted getting the wavemaster's attention. With a nod Ramza attacked the faeire with his own 'Rai Rom', the attack dealingmore than enough to defeat the creature. Kayin nodded back to Ramza quietly, and began bideding his time till some of his SP would return. Kayin moved over to Ramza, the wavemaster would be better on the offense, but Kayin was still better defensively. Kayin stood next to the wavemaster to try and divert any attacks from Ramza to himself.

OOC: I could finish this fight in one post. But naaaaah.

IC

Asgard got his bearings back from his distracting jump aimed towards the titanic monster. It looked like the other monsters were becoming much more aggressive with the fall of their shielding giant. His theory was confirmed, as one of the frost mages targeted him, Tokki and Kurai, unleashing an ice spell, meant to doom them. Asgard could feel the bottom of his feet become much colder than before. He knew what that monster had casted.

"Jump, NOW!" Asgard said, as he wasted no time in saulting upwards. Yet, he couldn't get enough lift, as the Rue Zot spell hit him, Kurai and Tokki. Even though they couldn't split the damage, it wasn't much of a hurt to be overly concerned about.

Before the faerie could sway her hands up for another spell, Asgard, upped with Ap Do and Ap Corv, was already upon the water Faerie. He thrusted his Kotetsu Sword straight through the Water Faerie, right where a human beings' intestines would be. The faerie's HP counter dropped to the red, but was almost ready to end Asgard with a close range magic attack. Before she could mutter the last word in her incantation, Asgard pulled his sword up and through the rest of the Faerie's upper body. The faerie froze still, almost cut in half, and then disappeared with a look of shock on her face.

Asgard grabbed the katana with one hand and brought the arm behind him. He locked his sights on his next target: A faerie who was trying to terrorize Kayin with magic attacks. He was fine with Ramza behind him, casting La Repth constantly for himself and Kayin, but his SP wasn't infinite. Asgard rushed over to the picknicking Faerie silently, trying to surprise her and win the fight with a quick, surprise attack.

Asgard first got behind the faeries line of sight, so that she could only see him coming when it was too late. When he knew he was out of her view, he dashed quickly forward, his feet a mere blur. Asgard grabbed the magic user in a headlock from behind, trying to force it to the ground. The faerie flailed around, trying to release herself. She rammed her staff backward, hitting Asgard in the head. The Heavy Blade's vision went blurry, yet he still tried to keep a strong hold on the faerie. She bashed him again with her staff, sending the Heavy Blade to the floor. The faerie raised her arms in the air, ready to finish him off. That was, until Kayin made a graceful diagonal slash straight across her back. She wasn't far from death, as she whirled around to attack Kayin. But Ramza, the crafty wavemaster, stood not too far away, summoning a stone of sheer darkness that plunged straight down and hit the Faerie dead on, crushing her.

Asgard held his head as he got up, trying to get his bearings. He could hear the *ding* of the HP indicator, telling him that he was near death. He popped open a health drink and devoured it in a few swigs. He felt his body mend and his dizziness clear. Yet, when he saw clearly again, he could see that one of the slimes was coming his way.

Sometimes, being a prime target sucked.

Tokki gripped her spear. At that moment in time, it looked like Asgard wouldn't have any trouble handling that Slime. Turning towards the other slime on the platform, she narrowed her vision, concentrating all of her attention on the enemy. Her glaive spun in her right hand, swirling nonchalantly. She wouldn't even devise a plan for this one. It's mere visage made her sick, and the sooner it's HPs were depleted, the sooner she could get that taste out of her mouth. Her right foot planted into the ground hard, and she smirked inwardly, ready to pounce. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the vision of the last faerie, it's lips moving to speak out the rites of an incantation. Her target was Asgard. Tokki needed to know whether or not Asgard would be able to fend for himself against the Slime while evading a magical attack. And if she knew that Heavy blade as well as she thought she did-- his magical evasion probably wasn't the swiftest with that large Kotetsu sword. Her eyes closed, and time seemed to slow for her. She felt out with her body to read the spell being prepared by the fairy. Sure enough it was exactly as she had hoped it wouldn't be-- a Rue Rom spell. The spell, of course wouldn't destroy Asgard, but that wasn't the problem.

Kayin and Ramza stood very near to Asgard, and Tokki understood what that meant. The Rue Rom would batter the three of them with water and ice, whilst the Slime beat away at the distracted Asgard's health. Tokki had to ignore the Slime she was after for a moment, and focus on the faeries spell, and deflecting it away from her allies.

She turned her back on the slime to focus, and extended her spear towards her right, while her fingers pointed toward the faerie. As the water elements gathered around the faerie, and the Rue particles formed in the air and earth around the proximity of Asgard, Kayin, and Ramza-- Tokki was busy clearing her head, to counter and repel the attack. Asgard raised his blade to parry a blow from the attacking slime, and lashed out with his blade just as the slime recoiled, depleting a bit of HP. Kayin and Ramza had frozen in place already, staring at Tokki's concentrated look. After a few logical surveys of the area, they finally understood what she was doing. The water that was gathering around them was struggling to form shards of ice that Tokki would lose control of, and they would feel deplete their HP.

The water particles were held off, Tokki's brow beading with sweat. She controlled her breathing, and kept her nerves calm enough to regulate her mind. The faerie was determined-- it's casting speed increasing and the incantations coming off much clearer and quicker. Tokki needed to act.

"Look..." Kayin murmurred to Ramza, who in turn looked up to Tokki. What he saw was a body surrounded by a bright, illuminescent cyan light that seemed to be consuming her body with brightness. Her eyes suddenly opened, and Ramza gasped. Her pupils were replaced by bright cerulean orbs of what seemed to be magic. The light around her body was augmenting the more of the water energy she removed from the area around the three fighters.

Asgard was working as fast as he can to slay the Slime before Tokki's concentration was broken, but the fiend seemed to be doing a good job of parrying his blows. Asgard was having trouble concentrating enough given the circumstances.

"A little assistance?" Asgard shouted, as he ducked under the swiping blow of the slime a second too late, taking a startling blow to the side of his head. *Oomph!*

Kayin sped forwards, hopping up over the dazed Asgard to thrust his blade downwards into the slime, severing a large section of the goo from it's body-- diminishing it's hit points. Tokki's teeth grit hard, and she struggled to handle all of the water data at once. The Faerie seemd to have an unlimited supply of SP to continue casting for this long. Behind Tokki, trouble was brewing. Kurai was keeping the slime at bay, but in order to evade an attack, he had leapt over the slime and landed behind it, leaving his position between the slime and the focused Tokki. Kurai's eyes widened upon realizing what he had done.

"No..." He stammered to himself.

Sure enough the slime turned, lashing it's arm out at Tokki's backside hard, and sending her to the floor. As her gasp on the magic faltered, every bit of magical energy that she had been retracting was unleashed on the three in the area of effect-- essentially tripling the damage if it was successful. Tokki's eyes widened upon hitting the ground, and she propelled herself from the ground with her hands, and somersaulted into the air and into the area where the three stood. As she landed, the water and ice began to rain down on Kayin, Ramza, Asgard, and herself. The blinding light caused Kurai to shield his eyes, who had the Slime locked within the vines of the treeweaver, which Tirath then finished with his blade. Kurai and Tirath both stood toward the severe blast of magic, gaping eyes and open mouths bared at the scene.

"That.. stupid faerie!" An angered Kurai shouted. The long arm sped at the Faerie, who was moving around obviously trying to keep away from the group. Evidently it didn't have any more SP to use afterall. Kurai sped into it's path, swiping it in the side of the head, and sending it over the side of the cliff. The treeweaver's vines descended over the edge after it under the pretense of finishing it off. The success of his weapon was assured when the squeal of the faerie was heard from over the side.

Kurai turned back to the viscinity of the water magic bombardment, to oversee the situation with Tirath. What they saw, was four warriors, their arms crossed over their heads to shield themselves, with only partially depleted HP. It seemed nothing short of miraculous.

"But..." Tirath sputtered. Asgard stood, dusting himself off. He was drenched in water, and his boots squeaked as he turned to face Tokki.

"I suppose-- having an automatic resistance to Water magic..." He was cut off by his own coughing, a large flow of water purging from his mouth. He began to breathe heavily, and finally finished his statement upon catching his breath. "Perhaps you should stay closer to us from now on." Ramza and Kayin did not throw in any concurring statements, but on the inside they were nodding to the statement. If Tokki hadn't gotten in the way of the attack with them, that attack could have easily wiped their HPs to 0.

Tokki passed on a subtle smile, before falling to the floor-- passing out from the strain on her mind. Perhaps it was a good thing she had sat out on the riddle after all.

Kayin breathed heavily, he sheathed his sword one again as he wandered over to rock upon the platform and sat down to rest. He held his left arm in his lap and sat staring at it.

He rummaged through his thoughts quickly, 'This is a game, yet the damage we recieve definantly feels very real, but the pain doesn't seem to completely stop with healing. Ridiculous, this is rediculous.. I can barely hold my sword with both hands.. ' he continued within his head, suddenly grinning as he spoke aloud "But it sure adds to the difficulty of the battles"

This sudden outburst struck everyone as odd. 'what was he talking about' most the people seemed to think as the looked at the heavy blade questionly.

"Its nothing.." Kayin offered to the questionable looks he was getting. He didn't really care if everyone thought he was going crazy, he just wanted to survive, and deal with all of the happenings with as little stress as he could manage. Kayin began to idly try and work the pain from his arm as he waited. He casted a repth upon himself in hopes that it would help relieve the aching appendage. "Should we rest for a while?" He asked the party, wondering if anyone else needed to take some time to recover from the battles.

Kurai ran to Tokki's side, falling to one knee. "Damnit... I should've been more aware..." Kurai furrowed his brow, and quickly shook off his face of frustration. He pulled his spear behind him, and a vine wrapped around him, acting as a wrap to keep it attached to his body. Sometimes, this weapon scares me.. Kurai trailed off in thought. It is as if it has a mind of its own - and even like it could read my thoughts. Kurai shook off his wandering mind, and held his hands over Tokki's body.

" Repth..." Kurai saw a radiant white light eminate from his palms, and spread out on Tokki's body. It started to regenerate all her phisical pains. I just hope she is alright.. Im not sure if she took physical or mental strain.. it seemed like both. Kurai closed his eyes, pulling his hands back to his sides. I just hope this remedys whatever is wrong with her. If i would have realized... I would've took the damage..

Tokki blinked a couple of times, and her eyes fluttered open to be greeted by Kurai. She closed her eyes for a moment and thought to herself. If I was going to wake up to anyone, I'm glad it was him...

She attempted to sit up, grunting softly as her back uprighted. When she was halfway up, her head began to spin, and she slipped back to the ground, only to be caught and find herself in Kurai's arms once more. She looked up at him and smiled.

"Thanks." She uttered. Her cerulean orbs had returned to their normal luminesence, and she seemed to be gaining that bright eyed look again, despite her dizziness. She stared into Kurai's eyes, only to be greeted with a the face of a pained warrior. He winced, and turned away from her, before speaking.

"I'm sorry I didn't..." Kurai began. He trailed off, and Tokki grasped his hand. Motioning with a nod, she had Kurai help her stand. After brushing herself off, she looked up at him once more.

"Kurai... it's really alright. You did more than I could have asked."

With that, she turned from him, pushing her hair back over her shoulder again. Kurai looked down, a bit disheartened. As he did, his eyes fixated on the vine that had wrapped around his body. The extending limb seemed to be glowing faintly the color of blue. He raised his head again to Tokki, and she was looking over her shoulder at him. A wink from her caused him to reevaluate the uncertainty within him again.

The players looked up and decided to head on. Their goal was very close now, just two more platforms separated them from the one with the dragon statue. They crossed the bridge which was sturdy but many of the players looked down at the water which seemed much different now... Instead of it being calm like when they first got there, there was now whitecaps and it was pretty rough dispite the clear sunny weather of the area. The water seemed...angry. Once all the players got accross the bridge the bridge fell into the water. There was no turning back from this point and there was no going ahead either. They were stranded! The players decided there had to be some kind of way to get a bridge to get to the next platform like last time and the searched the area. Upon close inspection the players found buttons that were labeled with each letter of the alphabet. Once player steped on one and it shone for a sec and then the light dissapeared...
'Weird'
One of the players commented. One of the other players found another little inscription thing just like the last time.
'Hey everyone! Here's our clue I think:

I have an eye but I cannot see...
You should watch out for me when you're near the sea...
I can move up to 40 kilometres per hour...
And if you ever meet me you will fear my destructive power!

Maybe we have to step on the platforms to make a word of whatever this is talking about?'

The players scrutenized over the puzzle while thinking up ideas. Some players were lost but some had a good idea on what it could be. They began to exchange idea's and try to figure out the new problem set before them...
