I think somebody should try placing Tritoch between them and the gems and then casting a spell on the gems seeing if they would zap his bubble on the way to trying to fry them.

It's better than a frontal assault. My summon, basic spells of different elements, basic attacks, debuffs, and skills all had no effect. Well, no damaging effect, anyway. Instead, each strike after the initial contact (note: not the first time I hit him with anything, but the first time I physically touched the bubble) created a smaller sphere inside the large bubble. Which, for noteworthy sake, is treated as a part of Tritoch if you target him. No Kruz spells inside it, much to my disappointment. And Tritoch seems happy about the spheres... he's got like six of them now (seven? I lost count) and that is not a good sign.

Uhm, the gems have been shattered, guys, so we can't get them to target him.
Has anyone tried physical attacks yet?

The gems weren't shattered, the flow of lightning between them simply ceased, so it is possible.

Tried Physical attacks, that's what I meant by basic, sorry. Tried that and weapon skills.

After asking a few questions, here's my out of the box 2 cents worth?
Possibility #1: Have Senna try to phase through the bubble. Problems with this that I can see are close quarters combat, brute strength (do we know where he stands on that) and the possibility that she might get stuck inside with him if ghosted. My thought is though, if he's defeated from the inside, perhaps the bubble would disappear? I know....extrememly long shot, but hey, it's a thought.
Possibility #2: According to Nights the bubble is sitting slightly below ground as if it doesn't really care that the ground is there. Not sure how helpful this is but maybe an attack from under the bubble? (you game Canti?) or maybe there's a problem with the bubble's data? Dunno.
Like I said, kinda out of the box thinking, especially for me. XD
Other than that, I like Raq's idea. =/

Tried the attack from below with a Gan Zot. That failed.

Spells can't get through it, can they...
My guess is that Senna's our best bet for solving this puzzle...

Well, that's not true... spells CAN get through... well. Beneficial ones can. I tried a Repth for experiment's sake and it scored. And no, combining that with an offensive spell doesn't work, I tried. The offensive spell hits the barrier and the Repth went right through.

Did you try giving him an elemental buff and then hitting him with that element?

That one didn't occur to me, so give it a shot.

While I don't think I'll be able to do much if I can get inside, I'll give it a try if nothing's moved by this evening. Maybe finally unleash that summon scroll in there, see how it likes being confined?
There's also the possibility of trying to destroy a tower or two. Could be the gems were just the defense mechanism on whatever they do?
I like the idea Raq had as well. If it works, it would be spectacular :)

Sadly, bolts from the tower only give him another bubble, as I went ahead and tried that.
A thought: What if there isn't a way through the bubble and we're just hurting ourselves by trying?

It appears as though Tritoch is collecting the spells that we're throwing at him in preparation for some massive attack. At least that's what it looks like to me and Dien. Every spell that hits is collected in a bubble, and I imagine he's going to be able to use those against us at some point in the near future. By the same token, though, I can't help but think that there's some way to interrupt this technique: be it through busting his bubble, something to do with the towers, or someone's specific Twilight ability. In any case, I've got a post coming out soon--probably tomorrow, if I can get some scripting in...

Just a feeling but...
The way Tritoch is smiling as the spheres multiply, my guess is it has something to do with a weapon as well but possibly from a direction none of us would be expecting, like the white haired zombie guy?? Nights made a point to mention Nighthand's current state.
Just a guess. But my feeling is the data drain turned him into some sort of puppet. >.> Pardon the pun since Demorian's now part of our group.
