That would require the guard to move closer from where he's at now which I doubt the range of the attack would reach him.

Also Rayo according to my list. Four of the five don't have much to do until we break out anyways, so there's not going to be a penalty for not posting this round, but posting is beneficial.

Incidentally, post either today or tomorrow. Today is long for me but I have breaks between classes, we'll see.

My work schedule has gotten all thrown out of whack but I should be able to put a post up tonight after work if not by tomorrow. Apologies for the delay.

I might get a chance to post later...though even if I do it will be fairly short anyway.

To give everyone an idea of the area.

This cell block holds 200 cells, 100 on each side of the hallway. We're roughly in the middle, with the girl Nall rescued in the field, and the two other mystery players are close to one end. The exit doorway (which is identical to the cell doors) is at the other end. So:

Dead End ----- Mystery Players ----- Us ----------Exit

I'm assuming for the sake of time and ease, that Senna only opened the doors that contained our group and the girl, not the entire cell block.

Dien, I know that I said I could be on to script, but due to a certain virus that's gotten into my machine, I need to reformat. I may or may not be on tonight.

Since I'm getting a lot of repeat questions I'm going to clarify here.

Marionette = Demorian

The other mystery player is really beat up, unresponsive, and has ragged angel wings. Those who have been around since before the Mac Anu assault recognize him as Kelvin Zephyr, one of the Head Admins.

There's also the girl Nall rescued before we were all captured, in addition to us all.

No worries there, Tak. It'd probably be better to include it in your post, 'cause the script I've got with Demorian is pretty conclusive. Still gotta script with Kira, though.

Oh, and to open a door you need the gauntlet, which wasn't made clear in Sekai's post.

In that case, I suggest someone other than Sekai ask Senna for it and pass it along. :) As she's likely the only person Senna'll have any qualms about giving it to

Well then, Talal will see if you'll give it to her because I'll need it for what I'm doing in my post and was going to get it from Sekai.

Sorry it's been taking so long for me to post, all. Been waiting on Sekai for some scripting with Kira, but she's been MIA for the past couple days. In any case, if I don't hear from her by tonight, I'll just go ahead without it.

So...I just figured out the puzzle. If we want to do it as quickly as possible, it can be finished within eight moves. While I would say we should do it that way, I can guess that if so, there are going to be people left out--considering it only takes three people to solve it completely. Maybe have the rest be distributing stuff to whom it belongs and getting dressed/re-equipped? Could make for some interesting postage...

Anyway, here are the steps I took, starting with default configuration:

Code: Select all

    /| | |\
   B-+-------+-------+-R

   Y-+-------+-------+-G
    \| | |/

Move 1

Now, we could work it IC to where Dien orchestrates it all, 'cause he's basically the analytical side of my brain and would figure it out just as quick as I did. Or you can have your character figure it out and play along. Or you can completely mess it up, if you think your character would do that. I dunno, but there's the solution.

EDIT: I guess it's supposed to be with the colors flipped. Takes fourteen moves - twelve or thirteen maybe, as I didn't check for counter-productive move, though I don't think there would be any...
